JD and I got up early and went for an early morning walk in the park. While on our walk, I spotted this sunflower and immediately knew that I wanted to use the rock formation as the background. I thought that the color combination of red, green, blue and yellow as a great combination.
Hope everyone enjoyed my vacation with my family as much as I do. Now, I have got to figure out what I am going to post come Monday!
Enjoy.

Okay cropmeister. I think this would look better cropping it square coming from the left side or possibly even further into a portrait crop, completely removing the shadow. I don't think the extra sky and shadow on the left add anything to the photo. I like the concept and the colors of the photo. It's a simple arrangement that stands on its own.
ReplyDeleteGreat color combinations. Also, I like the overall composition. I too think the crop might need some working.

Great simple uncomplicated shot. I like it like it is with the current crop. I think the dark shadow helps establish a diaganol from the flowers center and adds weight to the left side of the photo for balance. Good eye.
ReplyDeleteGreat finish to a great series!
ReplyDeleteWell done!
