Friendswood 4th of July Parade #4

“You cannot play in Texas without a fiddle in the band” and you cannot have a parade in Texas without some horses. Our little parade is blessed with some of the most outstanding horses that any parade has. The only problem I have with them is that I start watching them and forget to take any photos.

Of course, even in Texas, we have some people who think that the horses need a little “fashion” when they go to a parade.

Enjoy

  1. Beautiful horses. You do indeed have some fine looking horses. Since I train horses I must say this is my favorite.

  2. You have a way with candid shots, Larry. You are able to find the simplicity in the shot in a world gone awry with so much action (the parade). These are my favorites. We are all suckers for animals, I think.

  3. I agree with Shirley. You have made many of these photo appear more simpler than what the background really was. I was at the parade and not far from your spot so I know the background that you were shooting. Good work with managing what you had to work with.
